Daikin lays stone for plant in Sri City

Daikin Air Conditioning India Private Limited laid foundation stone for a plant in Sri City of Tirupati district on Thursday, which incidentally is its third in the country.

Kanwaljeet Jawa, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Daikin India, performed a puja and laid the foundation stone for the plant in the presence of Satoshi Suzuki, Ambassador of Japan to India, Masayuki Taga, Consul General of Japan in Chennai and Sri City Founder Managing Director Ravindra Sannareddy.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Suzuki said: “I appreciate Daikin for its continuous efforts in increasing their focus on the Indian market that is witnessing rapid growth, and establishing their third unit in the country.”
